Good Morning OLA!   Today is Friday, September 18, 2026.  HAPPY MERCY DAY! 

Morning Prayer:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

BIRTHDAYS

Celebrating their birthday today is Kyleigh Johnson.  And celebrating their birthday on Saturday is Chloe White.  Happy Birthday Kyleigh and Chloe! 

IMPORTANT MESSAGES

Homecoming tickets are on sale at Saint Stanislaus in Mrs. Tusa's office.  All 9-12 graders are invited to attend and the tickets are $25.00.  Mrs. Tusa will be on campus next Tuesday during 2^nd Lunch to sell tickets. 

Calling all choir members!  Did you sign up to help sing for masses and prayer services? There will be choir practice after school on Thursday for Mercy Day.  We will practice in the OLG church from 3:30-4pm.  Please see Mrs. Mayer for details! 

OLG Ladies Auxiliary needs a few students to help with the rummage sale Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday Sept 30- October 2) after school and Saturday October 3 in the morning.  There are only a few slots available.  See Mrs. Mayer if you are interested.  

PTO is collecting Claiborne Hill grocery receipts.  Please drop off your receipts to the office.  

OLA Sports

OLA won their swim meet with Biloxi High, Pearl River Central, Picayune Memorial, and St. Martin.

The 200 medley A relay of Ellie Thompson, Ashlynn Tolar, Ella Garcia, and Maci Thompson placed 1st.

The 200 medley B relay of Stella Cappel, Sadie Thigpen, Emma Garcia, and Gabriella Miceli placed 3rd.

In the 200 freestyle, Paige Zimmerli placed 1st and Ashlynn Tolar placed 3rd.

Charlotte McCall placed 1st in the 200 IM.

In the 50 freestyle, Maci Thompson placed 1st, Ellie Thompson placed 3rd, Ashlynn Tolar placed 4th, Emma Garcia placed 5th, and Sadie Thigpen placed 6th.

Stella Cappel placed 1st in the 100 butterfly.

In the 100 freestyle, Ella Garcia placed 1st, Paige Zimmerli placed 2nd, and Ellie Thompson placed 4th.

In the 500 freestyle, Maci Thompson placed 2nd and Sadie Thigpen placed 3rd.

The 200 freestyle A relay of Charlotte McCall, Ellie Thompson, Gabriella Miceli, and Paige Zimmerli placed 1st.

The 200 freestyle B relay of Chloe White, Emma Garcia, Elaine Kedney, and Ashlynn Tolar placed 2nd.

In the 100 backstroke, Ella Garcia placed 1st and Stella Cappel placed 2nd.

Charlotte McCall placed 2nd in the 100 breaststroke.

The 400 freestyle relay of Charlotte McCall, Paige Zimmerli, Maci Thompson, and Ella Garcia placed 1st. 

Attention Soccer Players!

JV and Varsity Soccer tryouts will be held September 21st, 23rd and 25th at the OLA soccer field at 4.00.  Junior high soccer tryouts will be held September 21-22 from 4-5:30 at the OLA soccer field.
