Good Morning OLA!    Today is Friday, September 4, 2026.  

Morning Prayer:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

BIRTHDAYS

Celebrating birthdays today are Alie Giles and Presley Smith.  And celebrating birthdays over the Labor Day weekend are Sofia Betancourt and Mrs. Audrey Mayer.  Happy Birthday to ALL! 

IMPORTANT MESSAGES

Robotics Meeting for all 7-12 graders interested in the new season to meet Tuesday and/or Thursday immediately after school in the Robotics Room.  This will be for both Lego League and FRC. 

SERVICE HOUR OPPORTUNITY!!!  Holy Trinity is having a Family Night next Saturday from 5-7 p.m., please sign the sign-up sheet on Ms. Graham's door if you can help.  

If you have sold your Raffle Tickets, please return your envelope to the office as soon as possible.  Deadline to return tickets is NEXT FRIDAY! 

PTO is collecting Claiborne Hill grocery receipts.  Please drop off your receipts to the office.  

OLA Sports

OLA won their swim meet with Biloxi, Harrison Central, D'Iberville, and Long Beach 

The 200 medley A relay of Paige Zimmerli, Ashlynn Tolar, Ella Garcia, and Maci Thompson placed 1st.

The 200 medley B relay of Ellie Thompson, Elaine Kedney, Emma Garcia, and Gabriella Miceli placed 3rd.

Charlotte McCall placed 2nd in the 200 freestyle.

In the 200 IM, Paige Zimmerli placed 1st and Emma Garcia placed 2nd.

In the 50 freestyle, Ella Garcia placed 1st, Maci Thompson placed 2nd, Elaine Kedney placed 3rd, Stella Cappel placed 4th, and Chloe White placed 8th.

Ellie Thompson placed 3rd in the 100 butterfly.

In the 100 freestyle, Maci Thompson placed 1st, Paige Zimmerli placed 2nd, Gabriella Miceli placed 4th, Emma Garcia placed 5th, and Chloe White placed 8th.

Ella Garcia placed 1st in the 500 freestyle.

The 200 freestyle A relay of Sadie Thigpen, Ashlynn Tolar, Paige Zimmerli, and Maci Thompson placed 1st.

The 200 freestyle B relay of Chloe White, Charlotte McCall, Elaine Kedney, and Emma Garcia placed 2nd.

Ellie Thompson placed 3rd in the 100 backstroke.

In the 100 breaststroke, Charlotte McCall placed 1st and Ashlynn Tolar placed 3rd.

The 400 freestyle relay of Gabriella Miceli, Stella Cappel, Ellie Thompson, and Ella Garcia placed 1st. 

Finally, the OLA swim team has a new team record, set by Ella Garcia in the 500 freestyle. The old record was set over twenty years ago in 2002 by Alyssa Walter, with a time of 5:37.18. Ella broke it with a new time of 5:34.28. Congratulations!  

Attendance & Lunch Orders

Teachers, please enter your attendance in FACTS. 

LUNCH:  All students should have Pre-Ordered Pizza Hut.  If they did not preorder a pizza; nor did they bring a lunch from home, please have them to stop by the office at the end of 1^st Period.
