Good Morning OLA!   Today is Monday, September 28, 2026.  

Morning Prayer:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of a new week.  Fill me with Your peace, guide my steps with Your wisdom, and strengthen me for every task ahead.  May Your presence lead me, Your love sustain me, and Your grace cover all that I do, as we pray…..

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

BIRTHDAYS

Celebrating their birthday today is Mrs. Carolee Ray.  Happy Birthday Mrs. Carolee! 

IMPORTANT MESSAGES

Make sure your locker door is cleaned (NO WRITING OR STICKERS).  We will be checking all lockers, so make sure you clean your front locker door ASAP! 

PTO is collecting Claiborne Hill grocery receipts.  Please drop off your receipts to the office.  

OLA Sports

At a swim competition with 15 other schools, OLA placed 1st.

The 200 medley relay of Stella Cappel, Charlotte McCall, Ella Garcia, and Maci Thompson placed 3rd.

In the 200 IM, Paige Zimmerli placed 3rd and Charlotte McCall placed 4th.

In the 50 freestyle, Ella Garcia placed 2nd and Maci Thompson placed 5th.

Ella Garcia placed 1st in the 100 butterfly.

In the 100 freestyle, Maci Thompson placed 2nd and Stella Cappel placed 8th.

Ashlynn Tolar placed 5th in the 500 freestyle.

The 200 freestyle A relay of Charlotte McCall, Gabriella Miceli, Paige Zimmerli, Maci Thompson placed 2nd.

The 200 freestyle B relay of Ashlynn Tolar, Emma Garcia, Elaine Kedney, and Sadie Thigpen placed 5th.

In the 100 backstroke, Paige Zimmerli placed 3rd, Stella Cappel placed 4th, and Ellie Thompson placed 6th.

In the 100 breaststroke, Ashlynn Tolar placed 3rd and Charlotte McCall placed 4th.

The 400 freestyle relay of Ellie Thompson, Stella Cappel, Paige Zimmerli, and Ella Garcia placed 2nd. 

Attendance and Lunch Orders

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu:  Red Beans with Smoked Sausage over Rice; Cornbread Muffin; with Drink; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Creamy Chicken Wild Rice.
