OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good Morning OLA!   Today is Friday, October 2, 2026.  

Morning Prayer:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

BIRTHDAYS

Celebrating their birthday today is Madisyn Galle.  And celebrating birthdays over the Fall Break are Christine Utley, Nina Bradford, and Paige Zimmerli.  Happy Birthday to ALL! 

IMPORTANT MESSAGES

Students, please check your shoes and make sure they are in good repair.  That means: clean, no holes, and the heels are not worn out.  If you need to replace your shoes, please do so during the Fall Break.  Dress code will be checked when we return to school on Tuesday morning.  

PTO is collecting Claiborne Hill grocery receipts.  Please drop off your receipts to the office.  

OLA Sports

The Crescents are the MHSAA 3A-4A Region 8 Champions!!!

- 8th grader Emma Magee led the team shooting 75 and finished 2nd overall.

- 8th grader Ella Magee shot 85 and finished 4th overall.

- 8th grader Emily Payment shot her career best 95 and finished 7th overall.

- 9th grader Lola Haas placed 11th overall.

The Crescents will compete next at the State Championship on October 19th and 20th. 

Please see Mr. Corr in The Gap during lunch today if you are interested in playing softball for OLA. He will be passing out information packets. Even if you play club sports like volleyball and soccer in the spring, please stop by and take a look at the information. You may find that you have the time to be a part of the program.

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu:  Hamburger Steak; Mashed Potatoes with Gravy; Corn; Roll; with Drink; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Navy Bean Soup.
