Crescent Chatter - OLA Announcements

OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS Wednesday, April 13, 2022   Good Morning OLA!   Today is Wednesday, April 13, 2022.    Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.     In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.   Romans 3:23-24
All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. Thoughts on today's verse:  "I blew it!" Come to think of it, we've all blown it! We don't measure up. We're not divine. Thank God that grace is freely given and the price for our sin was paid by Jesus. While we "blew it" he renewed it! Kind and Loving Father, thank you for being so generous with your grace. May we be as passionate for your righteousness as you were in redeeming us from our sin.  Thro...

OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS Tuesday, April 12, 2022   Good Morning OLA!   Today is Tuesday, April 12, 2022.    Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.     In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.   Luke 9:23-24   Jesus said to them all: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. Thoughts on today's verse:  "I've just got to find myself." Won't ever happen. We do not "find ourselves, our life" by pursuing it. We find it by losing it to something or someone greater than ourselves. We find our life by losing it to Jesus and the work of his Kingdom. Master and Maker of all that lives and breathes, take our li...

OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS Monday, April 11, 2022   Good Morning OLA!   Today is Monday, April 11, 2022.    Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.     In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.   Romans 5:6-8   At just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Thoughts on today's verse:  Jesus died for us, but not because he had some high hopes for who we are or what we would be. No, he died for us because he knew exactly who we are and what we would be without him. Holy God, thank you for Jesus, our Savior. No...

OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS Friday, April 8, 2022   Good Morning OLA!   Today is Friday, April 8, 2022.    Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.     In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.   Romans 5:10
If, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life. Thoughts on today's verse:  Jesus didn't just die for our sins, he lives for us. Holy and Righteous Father, we thank you for Jesus, who is at your side and knows our hearts, struggles, and world. We thank you for your constant care and protection through all of our difficulties and triumphs. Please make your presence known more clearly today than ever before as we try to serve you with w...

OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS Thursday, April 7, 2022   Good Morning OLA!   Today is Thursday, April 7, 2022.    Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.     In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.   Galatians 2:20    I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Thoughts on today's verse:  Christ is alive in us. The real challenge is for us to be "Christ alive!" Thank you, God, for loving us and sending Jesus to redeem us from our sins. In Jesus name we pray.….   Our Fa ther, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our dail...

OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS Wednesday, April 6, 2022   Good Morning OLA!   Today is Wednesday, April 6, 2022.    Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.     In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.   1 John 3:16   This is how we know love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. Thoughts on today's verse:  What does it mean to lay down our lives for our brothers?  If we have a brother or sister in Christ with needs, we give up what we have to fill that need! Lord God Almighty, I am convicted by your sacrifice and ask for eyes to see and grace to act when my brothers and sisters are in need.  In Jesus name we pray.….   Our Fa ther, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy k...

OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS Tuesday, April 5, 2022   Good Morning OLA!   Today is Tuesday, April 5, 2022.    Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.     In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.   2 Corinthians 5:14-15    Christ's love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. Thoughts on today's verse:  Lord, Thank you for giving us victory today in our lives as we live it for him. In Jesus name we pray.….   Our Fa ther, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgiv...
