Good Morning OLA!   Today is Friday, February 18, 2022. 

 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Romans 8:38-39   I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither present nor the future, nor powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is ours in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Thoughts on today's verse:  Separation is something we fear; but we will not be separated from God's love.

Father, thank you for loving us. Thank you for giving us the promise that nothing can separate us from your love. Please fill us with your Spirit and make us more aware of your accompanying presence in our lives.

In Jesus name we pray…

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

BIRTHDAYS

Celebrating birthdays over the weekend are Caydee Fletcher and Addison Dickinson.  Happy “Early” Birthday Caydee and Addison!

 

Important Message

Taekwondo meets on Mondays and Wednesdays.

 

National Honor Society tutoring after school today from 3:30 to 4:00 in Mrs. Colbert's room.  Those National Honor Society students who have not signed up to tutor, please see Mrs. Gelpi today.

 

Mathcount meets on Fridays.

 

OLA Sports

Today: Softball at home vs. Moss Point at 6 pm

Saturday: Tennis at Long Beach at 10 am
