OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good Morning OLA!   Today is Monday, November 6, 2023.  

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. 

O Precious Father, we know our hearts can be deceitful. At times we can even fool ourselves. But when we kneel in your presence and are convicted by your Word, we find ourselves reminded of the areas we have not yet fully submitted to your control and Jesus' lordship. Please, dear Father, use the Holy Spirit to gently show and convict of our self-deceptions so that we may be wholly lost in your will. In Jesus' name we pray, 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Birthdays

Celebrating their birthday today is Mackenzie Knoblock.  Happy Birthday Mackenzie!

Youth Leg will meet TODAY after school from 3:30 to 4:30 in the Student Resource Center. 

OLA Sports

The sailing team battled it out at the Gulf Coast Fall Brawl held at Fairhope Yacht Club over the weekend, taking 5th place when the scores were tallied. Sailing for our team were: Karoline Burroughs, Lane Burroughs, Aidan Castle, Michael Dawley, Jonah Grumme, Emma Harris, Kade Johnston, Landon Newton, and Tristan Wagner. Great job sailing team!

Senior banner pictures for basketball and soccer will be taken after school on Wednesday.  Please meet Ms. Ashley in the gym. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Ashley or Coach Corley. 

Teachers:  Please take daily attendance and also enter yours and your student’s lunch selection.   

If you do NOT place your lunch order at this time, you will not be able to eat until all others have been through the lunch line to see if there are any leftovers.  

Today’s Menu: Popcorn Chicken, Waffle Fries and Fruit; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Broccoli Cheddar. 

At this time, all students please stand for the daily uniform and cell phone check.
