OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good Morning OLA!    Today is Thursday, November 30,  2023.  

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

BIRTHDAYS

Celebrating their birthday today is Ivy Holmes.  Happy Birthday Ivy! 

Important Messages

National Honor Society is having a drive for the Open Door Coalition. Bring any small household items, such as cleaning supplies, towels, sheets, food utensils and laundry baskets and put them on the table outside of Mrs. Gelpi's door. This counts as service for National Honor Society members. 

 

On Friday, student council will be having a bake sale during both lunches. Bring your money! They will be selling baked goods and hot chocolate. 

Service Hours

St. Clare Church is hosting a babysitting service for parents on Saturday, December 9th after the 5:30 mass and is looking for girls who need service hours that would be able to help on this day.  They will have a Christmas movie and other fun things to do.   There is a sign up on Mrs. Mayers door, please sign-up ASAP.  

Holy Trinity needs 6-8 student volunteers to help with Cookies with Santa this Saturday and Sunday. Saturday’s hours are 3-5pm to help with loading/unloading and setup, and anytime 9:30-2:30 on Sunday to help with setup, running/helping with booths, and breakdown. Please sign-up in the office. 

Campus Ministry

December 7th at 3:45 PM Campus Ministry and Chorus members are caroling at Dunbar. All are welcome!! 

Please see Mrs. Mayer, Marley Kinniburgh, or any campus ministry member for more information. 

A rosary was found in the church parking lot, please stop by the office to claim. 

Teachers:  Please take daily attendance and also enter yours and your student’s lunch selection.   

Today’s Menu: Spaghetti with Meat Sauce, Vegetable and Bread Stick; or Soup and Salad Bar.  Today’s soup is Chicken Dumpling. 

At this time, all students please stand for the daily uniform and cell phone check.
