Good Morning OLA!   Today is Monday, February 5, 2024.  

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Important Messages

Congratulations to the ROBOMOONS who qualified for the State Lego League Competition. 

There will be a meeting for the National Science Honor Society on Tuesday during second lunch in the Chemistry Lab.

Are you interested in being a member of the Yearbook Club? Email Mrs. Corr before Wednesday, February 7th.  

On Sunday the band will be performing in the Nereids parade in Waveland, the parade starts at noon. Come out and enjoy the Mardi Gras festivities! 

Campus Ministry is hosting a Saint Parade shoe box competition. Grades and Clubs can compete by submitting a decorated float by the end of the day TODAY. The winners will receive king cake at lunch! Please see any Campus Ministry Officer for more details. 

National Junior Honor Society is hosting Candy Grams for Valentines Day! The candy grams can be purchased from any National Junior Honor Society member for $2. The deadline for orders is this Friday. Make sure to get some for your friends! 

Order your SADD sweatshirt ASAP, the deadline to order is TODAY.  A link to order was emailed to all students. 

WEDNESDAY is a “Late Take-In Day”, first bell rings at 9:30, tardy bell rings at 9:34. The building will be open at 8:00 a.m. for all non-driving students, please enter through the Gym Door (door closest to the street/courtyard). Once students are on campus, they will not be allowed to leave to go to their locker.  So please retrieve items from your locker before leaving school on Tuesday.   Students are not allowed to be on the SSC campus on Wednesday morning. 

Teachers:  Please take daily attendance and also enter yours and your student’s lunch selection.   

Today’s Menu: Popcorn Chicken, Mac-N-Cheese and Applesauce; or Soup and Salad Bar.  Today’s soup is Broccoli Cheddar Soup. 

At this time, all students please stand for the daily uniform and cell phone check.
