Good Morning OLA!   Today is Thursday, January 16, 2025. 

Morning Offering and Special Intentions:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Important Messages

This month, Campus Ministry is joining with the anatomy classes to host a Baby Item Drive for mothers in need! Bring in items to be invited to our Baby shower during lunch on January 28! The class with the greatest participation will win hot chocolate during lunch! Check posters around the school to see what items your grade is to bring in. Turn in items to Mrs. Goris before January 24th. 

National Art Honor Society is selling stickers during lunch every day this week. Change and cash only. 

OLA Sports

Our Middle School Basketball team will play West Harrison at West Harrison  Middle TODAY tentatively at 5:30PM.  We’re super proud of our girls for all of their hard work this season and wish them the best in the championship game.   

We are hoping to have as many students and parents to attend as possible.  

For those students who attend, they will be eligible for FREE DRESS tomorrow, January 17th.  

They can wear Jeans (no holes, rips or tears), or Sweatpants with any OLA T-Shirt or Sweatshirt with tennis shoes.  NO CROCS, UGGS, or SLIPPERS!!!!  ONLY tennis shoes or your school shoes!!!! 

Please see Mrs. Tolar at the games, so she can add you to the list of those eligible students.  

If you are interested in being on the OLA track team, please sign up outside of Coach Corley’s classroom. 

The soccer game against Sacred Heart has been moved to January 28th. Senior night has also been moved. 

We will have Dance Senior Night on January 31st before the basketball game (around 5:45ish). The game starts at 6:00. 

Lunch and Attendance

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu: Spaghetti with Meat Sauce; Caesar Salad; Garlic Knot and Drink; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is homemade Chicken & Dumpling.
