Good Morning OLA!   Today is Thursday, December 4, 2025. 

Morning Offering and Special Intentions: 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

John 10:14-15   [Jesus said,] "I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me - just as the Father knows me and I know the Father - and I lay down my life for the sheep."

Thoughts on today's verse: In a world where so many people want to attract our attention and are willing to give us advice, we can refuse their voice. We listen to Jesus because he has shown his love for us by laying down his life for us. He is the Good Shepherd.  Through Jesus we pray…

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

BIRTHDAYS

Celebrating birthdays today are Lilly and Sophie Canzoneri and Riley Powers.  Happy Birthday Lilly, Sophie and Riley! 

IMPORTANT MESSAGES

ATTENTION: St. Nicholas Day! Bring a tennis shoe from home for TOMORROW December 5th. Your shoe will be placed outside of your FIRST PERIOD classroom. "St. Nicholas" will come around and put a little gift in your shoe.  

Yearbook Club:

Are you interested in being on the yearbook staff? Please see Mrs. Corr to get a flyer with details on how to apply. Applications are due Tuesday, December 9th.  

PTO is collecting Claibourn Hill grocery receipts.  Please drop off your receipts to the office.  

OLA Sports

Today:  JH Basketball at Picayune Middle and JH Soccer vs. Hancock @ SSC; both start at 5:30 

Softball try-out #1 will be held this Saturday December 6th from Noon until 2:00 PM at the OLA Softball Field.  Please wear athletic and OLA clothing, and bring cleats and tennis shoes to the try-out. 

Attendance & Lunch Orders

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu: Grilled Cheese with Tomato Basil Soup; and Drink; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Mrs. Florence’s Creamy Chicken Soup.
