Good Morning OLA!   Today is Tuesday, December 2, 2025. 

Morning Offering and Special Intentions:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Let us pray:  Father God, every word in scripture points to the gift of hope that we have because of Christ Jesus. The Christmas story wasn’t the beginning of that message of hope because the Old Testament is full of glimpses of your plan to redeem your people and restore them into a relationship with you, but we are able to truly begin to see and understand just how great your love for us is when we read the story of Jesus’ birth in scripture. That first Christmas, you gave us the gift of hope wrapped in swaddling clothes and laid in a manger. Thank you, Father, for your immeasurable gift. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Yearbook Club:

Are you interested in being on the yearbook staff? Please see Mrs. Corr to get a flyer with details on how to apply. Applications are due Tuesday, December 9th.  

PTO is collecting Claibourn Hill grocery receipts.  Please drop off your receipts to the office.  

OLA Sports

The JV and Varsity basketball teams won big last night against Long Beach with the varsity winning 64-28. Varsity plays again tonight at Gautier at 6 pm trying to keep their win streak alive. Go Crescents! 

Attendance & Lunch Orders

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu: Hamburger Steak; Rice & Gravy; Greem Beams; Roll; and Drink; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Broccoli Cheddar Soup.

Last Day of School – Dress Code & Dismissal Information

  Dear Parents, As we approach the last day of school on  Friday , please take note of the following important reminders: Students may wear shorts and a t-shirt  on the last day. Please ensure attire is school-appropriate. 8th grade students  should bring their  complete Mass uniform  to change into for the  8th Grade Promotion Ceremony . Exams will end at 10:00 AM. From  10:00–11:00 AM , students will report to their  class sponsor’s classroom . During this time, they will be called to the office to  return Chromebooks and chargers . 8th graders  will return their Chromebooks during their  8th period exam .
