OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good Morning OLA!   Today is Wednesday, December 3, 2025. 

Morning Offering and Special Intentions: 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

The Lord has said to Abraham “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you…”  God made a promise to Abraham, and God kept his promise.  God keeps his promises to us, too.  As we go on our Advent journey, let us pray to trust God to lead us, open our ears to hear his directions, and open our mouths to speak his truth.  In Jesus name we pray:

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

BIRTHDAYS

Celebrating birthdays today are Madelynn Allen and Aubrey Canzoneri.  Happy Birthday Maddie and Aubrey!

Yearbook Club:

Are you interested in being on the yearbook staff? Please see Mrs. Corr to get a flyer with details on how to apply. Applications are due Tuesday, December 9th.  

PTO is collecting Claibourn Hill grocery receipts.  Please drop off your receipts to the office.  

OLA Sports

The Crescents are on a roll as the Varsity basketball team continued their win streak at Gautier High School last night with a 48-26 victory. They will be back in action on Friday night at West Marion as the Crescents open district play. 

Softball try-out #1 will be held this Saturday December 6th from Noon until 2:00 PM at the OLA Softball Field.  Please wear athletic and OLA clothing, and bring cleats and tennis shoes to the try-out. 

Attendance & Lunch Orders

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu: Loaded Baked Potato Bar; Fruit; and Drink; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Chicken Tortilla.
