OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS Wednesday, November 1, 2023   Good Morning OLA!    Today is Wednesday, November 1, 2023.     Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.     In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.   Ephesians 1:18   I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints. Thoughts on today's verse:   Heaven is something we see with our heart. When we are discouraged, we need to have the eyes of our hearts "enlightened." O God, you are our Hope. We trust in you and your promises. But we admit that at times, we struggle.   Please fill us with your Spirit, comfort our doubts, and kindle our passion so that we may serve you with boldness and share your grace with others. Through Jesus we pray.  ...

OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS Tuesday, October 31, 2023   Good Morning OLA!    Today is Tuesday, October 31, 2023.     Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.     In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.   Ephesians 2:8-9    It is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast. Thoughts on today's verse:   We all love gifts! When they're truly given, with no strings attached, all we have to do is receive them. The greatest gift we've ever received has nothing to do with our efforts. It is a gift from God. We didn't earn it, deserve it, or purchase it. God gave it through his sacrificial gift so our salvation would not be our boast, but his kindness. Holy God, we can never thank you enough for sending Jesus and paying the debt for our sin...

OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS Monday, October 30, 2023   Good Morning OLA!    Today is Monday, October 30, 2023.     Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.     In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.   1 Peter 1:24-25   All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord stands forever. Thoughts on today's verse:   As the seasons change, the leaves fall, and the grass dies, we are reminded once again of how short our lives are. Despite the rapid advancements of technology, our deepest needs are addressed only by the eternal and proven will of God in Scripture. Whether you get your Scripture off the Bible on disk or from an old family Bible, access it today. Give us a sense of our place before you as we seek your will in your Word.   'Thro...

OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS Friday, October 27, 2023   Good Morning OLA!      Today is Friday, October 27, 2023.     Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.     In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.   Hebrews 4:12   The word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Thoughts on today's verse:   How often do you let God do major surgery on your spirit as his Spirit uses the Word to encourage, judge, motivate, convict, instruct, and inspire? With such a great tool so readily at hand for most of us, let's not let a day go by that we don't let God use his word on hearts. Almighty God, your will is our heart's desire. But we realize that we need to be fed more consistently by your Word re...
