  OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS   Tuesday, November 12, 2024   Good Morning OLA!  Today is Tuesday, November 12, 2024.    Morning Offering and S pecial Intentions:   Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.     In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Lift ALL your worries to GOD.   In Jesus' name we pray,   Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.   Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.   In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Please remain standing for the Pledge: I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.  

    OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS Monday, November 11, 2024   Good Morning OLA!  Today is Monday, November 11, 2024.    Morning Offering and S pecial Intentions: Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.   Today, we will honor our Veterans, who have served our country with the highest respect.   When Francis Scott Key wrote the “Star Spangled Banner” almost 200 years ago, he called America, “the land of the free and the home of the brave.” Those words are as true today as they were then. Throughout this Nation’s history, America’s soldiers, sailors, airmen, Marines and coast guardsmen have bravely answered the call to defend our freedom, to aid our friends and allies, and to turn back aggressors. We can never fully repay our debt of gratitude to those American service members who died or were wounded in battle.   We can, however, recognize and thank the veterans living today.     In the name of the Father, and of t

  OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS Friday, November 8, 2024   Good Morning OLA!  Today is Friday, November 8, 2024.    Morning Offering and S pecial Intentions: Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.     Ephesians 1:18   I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints. Thoughts on today's verse:   Heaven is something we see with our heart. When we are discouraged, doubtful, and depressed, we need to have the eyes of our hearts "enlightened." The dawn needs to rise in our darkness, and then we will see the dawn of hope and the riches of our inheritance. But when things look bad, the only way to remember these things is to sing them, pray them, and read God's promises of them. O God, you are our Hope. We trust in you and your promises. As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. Thoughts on today's verse:   While we can't speak for everyone in our family, we can commit to what everyone in our family should desire: We will serve the Lord! Lord, Give us wisdom on how to lead our families to love you more. Please bless our parents, and thank you for their faith. At times we can even fool ourselves. But when we kneel in your presence and are convicted by your Word, we find ourselves reminded of the areas we have not yet fully submitted to your control and Jesus' lordship. Please, dear Father, use the Holy Spirit to gently show and convict of our self-deceptions so that we may be wholly lost in your will. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Thoughts on today's verse:   Yes, there are things we don't like about our government. But God has truly blessed us to enjoy the protection of the authorities. But we also live in the time of some of the greatest persecution ever known in the Christian era. So as we pray for our leaders and thank God for our freedoms, let's not forget the persecuted church all over the world.   Through Jesus We Pray……. Thank you for sending the gift of your Son and the gift of your Spirit so that we can live with you in a covenant of life, grace, and love.
